Visiting Paris in January-February has several advantages, even though it is not peak tourist season: Fewer tourists, Lower prices, Unique winter atmosphere, Exhibitions and cultural events, Photography and atmosphere
We have prepared a sample 3-day itinerary in Paris, staying near the Hôtel de Londres Eiffel
.Day 1: Eiffel Tower + Seine Walks
Morning:
- Start your day at the Eiffel Tower—literally steps from your hotel.
- Go up to the top for panoramic views. In winter, there are fewer tourists, so you can take your time.
- Tip: Buy your tickets online in advance to skip lines.
Lunch:
- Grab lunch at Café Caillou or a nearby bistro. Try French comfort food like croque-monsieur or French onion soup.
Afternoon:
- Walk along the Seine toward Trocadéro for the best photos.
- Visit Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac if you enjoy world art—right nearby.
Evening:
- Dinner at Le comproir de la traboule—classic French dishes with a twist.
- End the night with the Eiffel Tower light show (sparkles every hour after dark—magical!).
Day 2: Louvre + Marais
Morning:
- Take the metro to the Louvre Museum.
- Focus on highlights like the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and sculptures—but also explore quieter sections like Egyptian artifacts.
Lunch:
- Have lunch near Palais Royal, a quiet, picturesque area with cafés.
Afternoon:
- Stroll through Le Marais: narrow streets, boutique shopping, and cozy cafés.
- Visit the Musée Carnavalet for Paris history if you like.
Evening:
- Dinner in Le Marais or near the Seine.
- Optional: Seine river cruise—even in winter, the city lights are stunning.
Day 3 (Optional): Montmartre & Art
Morning:
- Head to Montmartre via metro.
- Explore Sacré-Cœur and the artistic streets. Fewer tourists in winter = perfect photos.
Lunch:
- Try a small bistro in Montmartre.
Afternoon:
- Wander galleries or small shops.
- If it’s cold, consider Musée d’Orsay on the way back (Impressionist masterpieces, and indoor warmth).
Evening:
- Dinner near your hotel in " Café de Mars"
- Wrap up your trip with a last evening Seine stroll.
