Winter Escape in Paris – 3 Days in the Heart of the City of Light

Winter Escape in Paris – 3 Days in the Heart of the City of Light

Visiting Paris in January-February has several advantages, even though it is not peak tourist season: Fewer tourists, Lower prices, Unique winter atmosphere, Exhibitions and cultural events, Photography and atmosphere

We have prepared a sample 3-day itinerary in Paris, staying near the Hôtel de Londres Eiffel

.Day 1: Eiffel Tower + Seine Walks

Morning:

  • Start your day at the Eiffel Tower—literally steps from your hotel.
  • Go up to the top for panoramic views. In winter, there are fewer tourists, so you can take your time.
  • Tip: Buy your tickets online in advance to skip lines.

Lunch:

  • Grab lunch at Café Caillou or a nearby bistro. Try French comfort food like croque-monsieur or French onion soup.

Afternoon:

  • Walk along the Seine toward Trocadéro for the best photos.
  • Visit Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac if you enjoy world art—right nearby.

Evening:

  • Dinner at Le comproir de la traboule—classic French dishes with a twist.
  • End the night with the Eiffel Tower light show (sparkles every hour after dark—magical!).

Day 2: Louvre + Marais

Morning:

  • Take the metro to the Louvre Museum.
  • Focus on highlights like the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and sculptures—but also explore quieter sections like Egyptian artifacts.

Lunch:

  • Have lunch near Palais Royal, a quiet, picturesque area with cafés.

Afternoon:

  • Stroll through Le Marais: narrow streets, boutique shopping, and cozy cafés.
  • Visit the Musée Carnavalet for Paris history if you like.

Evening:

  • Dinner in Le Marais or near the Seine.
  • Optional: Seine river cruise—even in winter, the city lights are stunning.

Day 3 (Optional): Montmartre & Art

Morning:

  • Head to Montmartre via metro.
  • Explore Sacré-Cœur and the artistic streets. Fewer tourists in winter = perfect photos.

Lunch:

  • Try a small bistro in Montmartre.

Afternoon:

  • Wander galleries or small shops.
  • If it’s cold, consider Musée d’Orsay on the way back (Impressionist masterpieces, and indoor warmth).

Evening:

  • Dinner near your hotel in " Café de Mars"
  • Wrap up your trip with a last evening Seine stroll.

Winter Travel Tips

  1. Morning indoor activities, afternoon walks outside—makes the cold more bearable.
  2. Buy skip-the-line tickets for Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and Seine cruise.
  3. Enjoy the calm—fewer tourists = more photo opportunities and relaxed pacing.
